Eplus is delighted to welcome Máire Barr as the newest member of our Risk & Governance subcommittee. As the European General Counsel for a global multinational company, Máire brings exceptional expertise in leadership, governance, and legal matters. She serves as a key member of her organisation’s European executive leadership team and holds positions as a board member and Company Secretary for several corporate entities. Her vast experience includes corporate governance, commercial law, and crisis management—skills that will undoubtedly strengthen Eplus’s governance and operational frameworks.
Máire’s academic achievements include a Degree in Law with French Law from University College Dublin and a Diplomé en Etude Juridiques Françaises from Université Paris X - Nanterre. Recognised for her excellence, she qualified as a Solicitor in 2008, earning the prestigious Overall Prize from the Law Society of Ireland. Her early insights into the family law system in Ireland cultivated a profound appreciation for the impactful work of Eplus, aligning closely with our mission to support children and families.
