Remembering Tom Branagan

We’re remembering Tom Branagan today, one of the very first people to join the Empowerment Plus family back in 2010! Tom had a way of making everyone feel at ease. A calm, kind gentleman and always ready with a joke. The kind of joke that could make everyone laugh and lighten the mood when it was needed most.

Tom enjoyed working with Eplus for 15 years and was very professional in any challenge he faced. He is highly respected by all both professionally and personally. He had a mind of knowledge, great gentle aura & a great poet.  He was extremely active. He enjoyed hiking, karate and had a great love for ball room dancing. He was a fighter who overcame challenges in his life.

Tom was full of knowledge, experience, and a genuine care for the young people and families he worked with. He had a special way of connecting with people that made a real difference and made people feel comfortable, both to colleagues and those he supported.

It’s hard to put into words what he meant to all of us - an inspiring colleague, a mentor, and a friend. He’ll be deeply missed, but we’ll always remember the warmth, laughter, and wisdom he brought into our lives. He was the kind of colleague who inspired you just by being himself, someone you learned from, admired, and felt lucky to work alongside. He’ll be deeply missed but never forgotten. He will be remembered with the fondest memories and in the most positive light.

Thank you, Tom, for everything.

Rest in peace.
