Members of the EPlus team were honoured to attend the recent launch event of Willow Domestic Abuse Services (Willow DAS), marking an exciting new chapter for an organisation that has been providing vital support to women and children in Meath for almost four decades.
The event was both inspiring and empowering, bringing together organisations and individuals committed to supporting families affected by domestic abuse. It offered a powerful opportunity to learn more about the breadth of services provided by Willow DAS and to celebrate the important work they continue to deliver in communities across the county.
Willow DAS has built a remarkable legacy through its comprehensive approach to supporting women and children experiencing domestic abuse. Their services include refuge accommodation, advocacy, counselling, and community-based supports designed to help individuals rebuild their lives safely and with dignity. The dedication shown by the organisation over many years highlights the critical role they play in protecting and empowering vulnerable families.

Following the launch, the EPlus team took some time to explore the Willow DAS website and reflect on the strong alignment between the missions of both organisations.
At EPlus, our work focuses on empowering children, young people, and families to live fulfilling and meaningful lives within their communities. Through our nationwide wrap-around support services, we work closely with families facing complex challenges, helping them navigate difficult circumstances and build stability for the future.
What became clear during and after the launch event was the natural synergy between the work of Willow DAS and EPlus. While Willow DAS provides essential frontline services and safe spaces for women and children experiencing domestic abuse, EPlus supports vulnerable children, young people, and families who may be navigating trauma, family breakdown, or significant life transitions.
Together, this work sits along the same continuum of care — supporting families through crisis, recovery, and ultimately towards stability, confidence, and independence.
Both organisations share a common vision: creating safe, supportive environments where families can heal, rebuild their lives, and thrive within their communities.

Events like this highlight the importance of strong collaboration across the sector. By sharing expertise, strengthening referral pathways, and working together on initiatives that support women, children, and families, organisations can help build a stronger network of care for those who need it most.
EPlus would like to sincerely thank the team at Willow Domestic Abuse Services for hosting such a thoughtful and inspiring launch event and for the vital work they continue to do every day.
We look forward to exploring opportunities to collaborate in the future and to working together to strengthen supports for families across our communities.
