We were delighted to attend the Social Care Careers Day at ATU Castlebar on 10th March 2026, and what an inspiring experience it was. From the moment we arrived, the energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm of the students stood out. It was a privilege to meet so many motivated individuals preparing to enter the social care sector.

Events like this are a powerful reminder of the passion and commitment shaping the future of social care. Engaging directly with students provided valuable opportunities to share insights into our work, discuss real-world challenges, and highlight the diverse and rewarding career paths available within the sector.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the organisers for delivering such a well-structured and impactful event. Creating meaningful spaces where students and employers can connect is essential, and this event succeeded in doing just that.

Looking Ahead: Opportunities for Collaboration

Our time at ATU Castlebar reinforced the importance of strong partnerships between education providers and employers. We see exciting potential for building a long-term professional relationship that delivers real value on both sides:

  • For ATU Castlebar: Collaborating with organisations in the social care sector can provide students with practical insights, hands-on experience, and clearer pathways into their future careers.

For Eplus: Strengthening connections with ATU Castlebar supports our ability to recruit talented graduates, contribute to workforce development, and collaborate on innovative approaches within social care.

A Shared Vision

We believe that by working together, we can create lasting benefits—not only for students but for the wider social care community. Partnerships like this enrich education, strengthen the workforce, and ultimately improve outcomes for the individuals and communities we serve.

We look forward to continuing the conversation and exploring how we can turn this shared vision into a meaningful and lasting collaboration.

Once again, thank you to everyone involved in making the Social Care Careers Day such a success.
