Achieving Triple Lock Status was a major goal when I commenced my journey as CEO of Eplus just under two years ago.
The Board and I set the goal of achieving this certification within three years, so I was incredibly proud that we achieved it in almost half the time.
For me, it’s much more than a certificate.
It represents hundreds of hours spent drafting, reviewing and strengthening policies, procedures and systems.
It represents the governance overhaul undertaken at Board level and the leap of faith many Trustees took when they joined the revised Board in late 2023.
It reflects the many voluntary hours Trustees spent in Board and committee meetings, all with the shared goal of ensuring the systems guiding the charity are as strong as the work being carried out on the ground.
The sense of pride and satisfaction I feel when reflecting on the journey we’ve taken to achieve this status is difficult to put into words.
